Such conversations should be handled with respect for the opposite and thoroughly understanding the scenario that persists.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can get through it like a boss! How? As the opposite person would not be in a state of mind to accept or listen to your view points. Most of all picking up a nerve-racking conversation at such a time can only worsen the situation and lead to dramatic and aggressive scenes at office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>What you need to say?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Plan what you need to say. This necessarily does not mean you have a printed script rolled up in your cuffs. Understand the scenario and mentally put up points that could provide a solution and not worsen the conversation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Be a good listener!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sometimes all you need to do is listen and not interrupt while the opposite person is busy stating his\/her stand . At times it is quite difficult to stay mum for long, however put your patience to test and listen carefully. Speak up after the person is done clearing his\/her standpoint. That\u2019s how you be professional when in an environment that requires you to do so.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Avoid team-play!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Avoiding teaming up, this isn\u2019t a battle, it\u2019s just a conversation that needs a solution. Keep away from saying nasty things such as \u201ceverybody said it\u201d,\u201ceverybody thinks that way\u201d. Saying things as such would just lower the opposite person\u2019s self esteem and at times can result in a rougher scenario.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Perspectives are meant to be different!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Always remember the way you view a problem is different from the way your team player views \u00a0it. A problem can have 100 logical ways to look at. Hence starting a conversation with a mindset of; your way of approach being the only right one would lead to a verbal scuffle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Do not mix emotions!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sympathy is good enough, empathising with the problem would just lead to finding a biased solution to solve the mystery. Do not mix emotions while you approach the problem.
